I will start by saying that I cannot thank Michael and his firm Greater Orlando enough for the tireless effort they put forward while representing me. I hired Michael after my ex-husband breached our divorce agreement over two years ago. During that time Michael and his team of paralegals worked non-stop (including weekends) and were very understanding of my situation. They were true professionals who always responded to my inquiries in a timely manner and caught up with me at the end of the day with details of the case. Michael is honest, loyal and aggressive when needed. He takes his cases personally, really cares about his clients and goes above and beyond to make sure they are protected. It’s hard to find a good attorney these days but he made sure all areas were covered so that the truth could be known, and justice could be served. Thank you once again for everything you have done to win this case. If I ever need to deal with another family case, The Greater Orlando firm is the one to hire. Fantastic Representation!

I hired this firm and Ken Cotter, Esq to represent me in a Family Law matter. I hired Mr. Cotter with the expectation that he would be doing his job to protect my rights and my relationship with my daughter. Mr. Cotter is very experienced, calm, respectful in interactions. He has the experience and the ability to be an excellent attorney. However, he didn’t do well in the area of ethics which is most important. He proceeded to represent me although he knew opposing counsel causing a conflict of interest. Instead of declining to represent me he proceeded. I informed him of my case and how it needed to be handled aggressively when we first met and he proceeded to inform me of the retainer being $5,000 as a result of it being this type of case. So it was more about money. He promised and agreed that we could handle the case aggressively as I desired, but he did not deliver. After he began representing me it was as if every interaction was to attempt to change my perception of things so that we stay out of the courtroom. Which is fine in most cases, but my case needed to be in-front of a judge. Ultimately, my rights, my daughters rights suffered as we didn’t receive full representation that we should have. Wasting time, money and causing further damage to me and my daughters relationship. This review shouldn’t serve as a attempt to harm the law firm or Mr. Cotter but to simply help other fathers out there vulnerable and subject to the same. Ethics, Honesty, Integrity should be of utmost importance. Everything is Business I get it. But find a lawyer who is in it for You and your rights first and then reap all the money from their good representation. Thank you Mr. Cotter. This experience has taught me a lot.

After a year into a messy divorce with children and no attorney. I reached out to Michael Vaghaiwalla on a referral and glad I did. I was extremely happy with how he handled my case. He took on my mess of a case and preformed very well. He was attentive, addressed any concerns and answered all my questions, which I had a lot! In short, if anyone needs a good, well educated divorce attorney. Look no further then Mr. Vaghaiwalla! You won't be disappointed! Thank You, Matt

Mr. Vagahiwalla was my attorney, through Greater Orlando Family Law, for my contentious divorce. He has exceptional knowledge of family law and is very well versed with/all forms needed in my case. His calm personality and knowledge left me feeling at ease and in control throughout the process. It was refreshing to find that Mr. Vagahiwalla isn't afraid to take the lead or stand up to opposing counsel if he needs too. He and his team always kept my best interest their top priority and their communication was outstanding, I highly recommend Mr. Vagahiwalla and his team to anyone who needs results with their family law case. My experience with him and his team, he's the best in the area!

TERRIBLE. I rarely write reviews but this review is more than warranted. Michael Vaghaiwalla was my attorney at this firm. I had a simple paternity case and throughout my case I felt like he was absent. The ball was dropped by Michael Vaghaiwalla multiple times in my case. Most notably was during a child support hearing. Through Michael Vaghaiwalla’s many reviews, you’d think that he is very knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing. I personally did not feel this way with my experience. For example, the opposing party filed multiple financial affidavits. Each affidavit represented different times throughout the year. This is so when child support is calculated, each month is calculated individually. I then sent multiple financial affidavits to Michael Vaghaiwalla and his paralegal and never got confirmation on filing. The day before the hearing I resent them to make sure Michael Vaghaiwalla and his team received them. I was then informed by Michael Vaghaiwalla’s paralegal that they have filed a motion to dismiss. I did not get a response until the morning of the hearing with the paralegal stating that someone will review the financial affidavits and get back to me. I called their office the morning of the hearing and asked them should I file them myself. The thought process was, if the motion to dismiss is denied, I would have updated numbers to calculate child support. The office reassured me that this will be taken care of. The hearing comes that afternoon and guess what? Michael Vaghaiwalla proceeds with the hearing instead of asking to reschedule. The hearing officer used my outdated numbers which lead me to have a miscalculated child support amount. This was $200 a month over from what I was supposed to pay. Michael Vaghaiwalla called after the meeting apologizing and stated that he just got the financial affidavits the night before(lies as he was copied on the first email) and had to “wrap his head around” why there was so many. Even though they were each clearly dated. After my multiple follow ups, and Michael Vaghaiwalla’s tone changing I decided to fire him. Enough was enough. This should have been so simple. Filling through the clerk’s office is a click of a button. I personally would tell everyone to look elsewhere. I’m sure someone will reply under this review(or not) to save face. I have emails and court filings to back up my claim. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Update: Michael reached out to me to delete this review in exchange for him deleting my balance with the firm. NEWSFLASH I’m still dealing with your error 6 months later. I would look elsewhere.
