Uc Berkeley LAW

Berkeley Law is a top tier law school fortunate enough to have incredibly intelligent, experienced, diverse, and preeminent faculty in their respective legal fields. The law school also hosts a number of excellent events every year. For example, this year the law school is hosting lectures by three different U.S. Supreme Court Justices as well as a United Kingdom Supreme Court Judge. There are also a number of smaller events hosted by the many different affinity groups on campus. The law school's library is also one of the preeminent law libraries in the country with extremely experienced research staff. The student body of the law school are also exceptional among their peers. Not only are they extremely intelligent and successful in their own right, they are also incredibly humble and non-competitive among one another. It is rare to see such collaboration and true friendship among a law school class. I would highly recommend Berkeley Law to any student who wants to pursue a serious legal career whether that be in private practice, public interest, or government work. That is especially true for people interested in the intersection of technology and law or who wish to practice on the West Coast.

Dean Edward Tom provided very useful content and tips during information session. I liked what I saw on the event posters on the cork boards. Didn't get to explore the library, which is unavailable for non-students (similar to many other law schools).

Enjoyed the three speakers , incl Alan Dershowitz & Richard Epstein...esp Dershowitz...he spoke plain& clear leaning conservative... renewed some of my faith that Berkeley allows both sides to speak
