China Ikpeama received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Columbia College-Chicago. During the course of his studies Mr. Ikpeama realized Columbia College was an excellent school, but not too far from campus in downtown Chicago was a homeless shelter with many people with many needs. Mr. Ikpeama made brown bag lunch packs and distributed them freely. Mr. Ikpeama then worked for the Circuit Court Clerk of the City of St. Louis Missouri and soon after, attended Florida A&M University College of Law where he earned his J.D.. While at Florida A&M University College of Law, he participated in the Housing Clinic by providing legal advice to citizens in the community who could not afford legal representation. After earning his law degree, attorney Ikpeama served his community by working as a prosecutor for the Office of the State Attorney in downtown Orlando. Today, attorney Ikpeama continues to serve his community by volunteering at The Coalition for the Homeless in downtown Orlando. The reoccurring theme in Mr. Ikpeama's life has been to attend to the needs of those around him by serving his community and the public interest. Attorney Ikpeama believes that there is a binding relationship between law and society, and that the work of the legal profession is inherently related to the public. Inspired by Justice Louis Brandeis, and his desire to help improve the everyday life of men and women, Mr. Ikpeama founded The United Law Firm. Kristin E. Scully, Esq. is a compassionate and committed advocate for individuals and families navigating some of life’s most challenging transitions. With more than twelve (12) years of experience handling marital and family law matters, Kristin provides clients with steady guidance, clear counsel, and strong representation in matters involving divorce, custody, support, paternity, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and post-judgment modification and enforcement proceedings. Kristin also has extensive experience guiding service members and their spouses through the unique challenges of military divorce, including the division of military pensions and drafting and implementation of Military Pension Division Orders. Kristin co-founded Scully | Torres with a focus on trust, integrity, and results. Kristin understands that family law is not just about legal outcomes—it’s about protecting what matters most. She works closely with each client to understand their goals, empower them with knowledge, and advocate for their best interests both inside and outside the courtroom. Kristin also serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem, where she advocates for the best interests of children in contested family law matters. This role reflects her deep commitment to protecting the welfare of children and ensuring that their best interests are served in the legal process. Kristin earned her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. Kristin presently serves on the Executive Council for the Marital and Family Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Additionally, Kristin is actively engaged in shaping the future of family law in Florida. She serves on several key committees within the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar, including the Children’s Issues Committee, Guardian ad Litem Committee, Support Issues Committee, and Rules and Forms Committee. Kristin brings both professional insight and personal perspective to her work. As the proud mother of three boys, she deeply understands the emotional and practical complexities of family dynamics. When not in the courtroom, Kristin enjoys watching her sons play baseball, cheering on the Michigan Wolverines and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, boating, and being outside and enjoying the Florida sunshine. Kristin’s down-to-earth approach and strong sense of empathy make her a trusted ally for clients facing difficult transitions.
