Scott was born and raised in New York. He received his undergraduate degree from Binghamton University in upstate New York. He them attended and received his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 2001. His career began shortly thereafter working as an associate attorney at a mid-size firm named Wingate, Kearney and Cullen concentrating mainly on real property, title and banking law. Scott then relocated to Southwest Florida in 2006 and went to work as an associate with Burkard Law Firm in Fort Myers. At Burkard he expanded his practice areas to include family, probate, wills, contracts and business law. In 2009, Scott opened Faden Law Firm where he ran a general civil litigation firm practicing in all of those areas. Finally, in February of this year, Scott partnered up with Barbara Cossu and created Faden & Cossu, PA, where they will continue to represent your needs in the legal areas of: family law, real estate, probate wills and estate planning, business, contracts and civil litigation.

Michael is a dedicated Jacksonville Criminal Defense Attorney and Florida DUI Attorney who approaches every case with the utmost skill and effort. John M. Jorgensen is a fourth generation Floridian, who earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1982 from the University of Florida. Mr. Jorgensen joined Scott, Harris in 1982, and became a shareholder in 1992. He is currently the President and managing shareholder of the firm. He practices in the areas of civil litigation and trials, with emphasis on real property and business disputes, construction and land use litigation, landlord-tenant both commercial and residential, foreclosures, contract disputes, and appellate practice. He has over 40 years of civil litigation and trial experience, all of them with Scott/Harris. Mr. Jorgensen is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and represents clients in both state and federal courts throughout south Florida. He has done well over 100 civil trials in his career. Mr. Jorgensen has served as President of the North County Section of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, and was also a member of the Association’s Board of Directors.
