Gary M. McDonald received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1972 and Juris Doctor degree in 1975 from the University of Arkansas, where he was a member of the Arkansas Law Review.

Mr. McDonald's practice is primarily focused upon commercial litigation with a specialization in matters related to creditors' rights and bankruptcy matters. In this area of specialty, Mr. McDonald has represented all interests generally present in bankruptcy reorganization proceedings, including representation of secured creditors (including financial institutions), Unsecured Creditors' Committees, Trustees, and Debtors-in-Possession, and has substantial experience in bankruptcy litigation involving prosecution and defense of transfer avoidance matters. Mr. McDonald is listed in The Best lawyers in America in the area of bankruptcy law and creditors' rights, and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. McDonald heads the Creditors' RightsTrust & Wealth Management Practice of Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, L.L.P.

Mr. McDonald has represented a number of debtors and Official Unsecured Creditor Committees which have successfully obtained confirmed plans in many industries, including tier one automotive manufacturing, grocery, wholesale food distribution, petroleum production, petroleum transportation, petroleum engineering, natural gas gathering systems, retail, financial services, commercial real estate, real estate development, steel, and medical technology.

Mr. McDonald is active in community affairs and professional associations, serving or having served as a board member and officer of several civic and professional organizations. Mr. McDonald is a frequent seminar lecturer in subjects involving creditors' rights, and for the past several years has moderated and lectured in an annual program focusing on bankruptcy litigation practice before the Bankruptcy Courts of the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Oklahoma.
