Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

Robert's father died in a house fire. Everything was lost and Robert, the only heir, didn't even know if the house was insured. Through much work we discovered that the house WAS insured and stepped in just in time to prevent a step sister, who had no legal right, from claiming the fire insurance proceeds for herself. - Probate Attorney, Gerald Gaggini

How did you build a successful practice?

A successful law practice is determined not by how much money the attorney makes, but how well he or she serves the client. I feel successful when my client is treated with respect and achieves the justice and equity he or she deserves. Attorney, Gerald Gaggini

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

The first thing a client should look for in a lawyer is experience in that particular area of law the client's case concerns. Many lawyers are generalists, and that's okay, but avoid giving a complicated estate matter to a newbie. Next, talk to the lawyer and see if he or she really seems interested in your case. If they aren't interested in a new client coming in the door, what kind of help do you think you'll get later?
