About Gregory
Greg Nugent has devoted his 20 year legal career to trial work. He gained matchless investigative and litigation experience as a prosecutor in Chicago for the first seven years of his career.
In his capacity as an Assistant State's Attorney in Cook County, Illinois, Greg organized and presented hundreds of felony cases to judges and juries including cases of armed robbery, home invasion and capital murder.
Greg became familiar with the dynamics of domestic relations and child custody as a trial lawyer for the State in the abuse and neglect section of Chicago's busy Juvenile Court.
He also spent a year out of the courtroom working "on the street" with Chicago Police Violent Crimes detectives visiting crime scenes, tracking down leads, dealing with forensic evidence and interrogating alleged offenders.
