About Gregory
Mr. Capps is counsel in the Commercial Litigation Department. His practice is devoted primarily to the representation of insurance companies in insurance contract disputes, involving complex matters pertaining to asbestos, environmental and long-term exposure to harmful substances. He represents clients in all phases of insurance coverage litigation throughout the United States.
Prior to joining White and Williams LLP, Mr. Capps was with German, Gallagher and Murtaugh, P.C., where he, along with other members of the firm, acted as national coordinating counsel for a property and casualty insurer on environmental, asbestos and toxic exposure insurance coverage disputes. Mr. Capps has co-authored numerous articles relating to insurance coverage matters, and other practice areas he has been involved with in the past.
Mr. Capps received his B.A. from Louisiana State University in 1988 and his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1993. Mr. Capps is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and is also admitted to appear before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Mr. Capps is the current president of the Board of Directors of Cheltenham Jayvees, a non-profit organization providing recreational and sports activities to residents in Cheltenham Township, Pennsylvania. Mr. Capps has been AV rated by the Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating system.
