During his career, Mr. Sonn has litigated numerous cases to successful resolution, recovering many millions of dollars for defrauded investors. He recently won a $50 million final judgment in Katz v. MRT Holdings, one of the few cases in the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act passed in 1995 to yield a final judgment on the merits. Frequently, Mr. Sonn serves as a television commentator on securities fraud and ponzi scheme cases for CNBC, The CBS Sunday Morning Show, BBC Radio, ABC and MSNBC. Mr. Sonn was the CNBC contributing expert on the Bernard Madoff Ponzi Scheme for the CNBC shows “On the Money” and “Scam of the Century, Bernie Madoff and the $50 Billion Dollar Heist.” Mr. Sonn recently appeared in the CNBC show “American Greed.”

Jason focuses his practice on complex civil litigation involving business and real estate matters. He received a merit-based Founders Scholarship to attend Tulane University and graduated cum laude in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in both Business Management and Legal Studies in Business. Jason then earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating cum laude in 2007. During law school, Jason was selected to become a member of the Charles C. Michael A. Fischler is the senior partner of Fischler & Friedman, P.A. Mr. Fischler was born in New York and has been a resident of Broward County Florida since 1966. He graduated from Jacksonville University in 1975, where he double majored in Business and Psychology and minored in Accounting.
