About Jacob
Jacob A. Ginsberg is a shareholder in the Commercial Real Estate Department and chair of the Commercial Lending Practice Group. Mr. Ginsberg concentrates his practice on commercial and real estate transactions and general business representation. His practice entails commercial/real estate and asset based lending (including extensive experience in all SBA loan programs) and investment banking; complex commercial lease and contract negotiation; developmental, commercial and residential real estate law; and general business, corporate and professional organization representation. Mr. Ginsberg has been involved in all facets of a real estate transaction, including the due diligence, the negotiation of the purchase contract, the financing process, including the loan application, review and modification of the loan commitment letter, preparation and review of the final loan documentation, and the closing of the transaction, including analysis of issues relating to the issuance of title insurance. Mr. Ginsberg has represented buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, borrowers, lenders, vendors and contractors in such transactions at all levels of complexity.
Mr. Ginsberg joined Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker in 2004. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ginsberg was an associate at the law firms of Bregman, Berbert, Schwartz & Gilday, LLC in Bethesda, Maryland and Ward & Klein, Chartered in Gaithersberg, Maryland, concentrating his practice in the areas of commercial and real estate based lending, real estate and commercial transactions and general business representation.
