About Jake
Jake graduated from William Mitchell College of Law and is an attorney with Goldenberg & Johnson, PLLC in Minneapolis. He has worked with Goldenberg & Johnson since 2002, and spent 5 years as a legal assistant before earning his law degree. Jake is licensed to practice in the Minnesota state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. He is a qualified civil neutral mediator and arbitrator under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
Jake assists individuals and families with claims related to motor-vehicle crashes, slip and falls, workers' compensation claims and work-related injuries, disability insurance claims, wrongful death claims, harmful product/machine injury claims, and other catastrophic injury claims. Jake greatly enjoys working with his clients on an individual basis to provide them with caring, responsive, and effective legal counsel.
As an undergraduate, Jake attended the University of Minnesota where he earned his political science B.A. and minor in journalism and mass communications. During college Jake spent a year working as an intern for the late U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone on foreign policy and veterans' benefits issues. Jake is married to Kelly Holmes-Jagdfeld, a legislative assistant at the Minnesota Legislature. He is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. Jake enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and loves being outdoors boating, fishing, hunting, camping, and watching the Minnesota Twins.
