Family Law: Whether you are just considering your options or have already made the decision to move forward, this is more than likely an emotional and stressful time. The uncertainty of changing parenting time and the financial impact can be overwhelming. Our office can assist in navigating through the process allowing you to begin the journey to a new life for both you and your family, protecting your financial interests and preserving your parental rights. Bankruptcy: Whether you have experienced a loss of a job, reduced income or rising expenses that have impact on your ability to pay your bills, rising debt can become overwhelming and unmanageable without assistance. Chapter 7: Need a fresh start - In a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy most debts are discharged and in the majority of circumstances you can keep your car and house if you are current with your payments. Chapter 13: Need time to catch-up - A Chapter 13 Bankruptcy allows you to repay your creditors over a period of time. Some debts must be repaid in full; others are paid in part; some may not be paid at all. Member Questionnaire

Please describe a case(s) in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I highly recommend Jim he helped me on my custody battle for my daughter. He was extremely knowledgeable and was always there when I needed support or if I had any questions big or small which eased my mind I was extremely nervous prior to having him on my side. Because of his guidance and perseverance the outcome of my case came out better than expected; I talked to several other lawyers and none of them thought that what I was asking would be possible. Jim met all of my expectations and then some. I will definitely go back to Jim if I ever need any other legal help!

How did you build a successful practice?
I built a successful practice by spending the time to fully listen to my clients and then establishing both short term and long term strategies to help meet the client’s goals.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?
First a litigant should interview a number of attorneys and then pick the attorney that offers a strategy that most closely addresses the goals of the litigant.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Knowing a county can impact a case, but it rarely controls the outcome of a case.
