About Jamie

Born in Florence, South Carolina, Jamie Hardison-Edwards soon moved to Coshocton, Ohio where she resided until moving to Mississippi where she graduated from Lawrence County High School.  Jamie then received an Associate's degree from Copiah Lincoln Community College and continued her education at the University of Southern Mississippi.  During her undergraduate studies, Jamie majored in English Literature, and minored in Spanish and economics and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts.  Jamie continued her education and completed post graduate studies that included an emphasis in applied linguistics and teaching languages.  She then received her Master's Degree from the College of Arts and Letters at the University of Southern Mississippi. Jamie then started her career teaching English as a Second Language for the Petal School District.   
Jamie then received her legal education from Mississippi College School of Law.  While in law school, Mrs. Hardison-Edwards served as a member of the Students Tutoring Assisting and Recruiting (STAR) program and the Women's Student Bar Association (WSBA).  Jamie is a member of the American Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association, and the Young Lawyer's Association.  She was admitted to practice law in all state and federal courts in Mississippi in 2007.
Jamie Hardison-Edwards has litigation experience in a wide range of actions including, automobile accident claims, uninsured motorist's claims, premises liability, mass tort and products liability.
