About Jana
After graduating from college, I worked as a jack-of-all-trades for an engineering program at UC Irvine. I served as a financial analyst, coordinator and helped manage a fleet of hydrogen vehicles. Prior to going into law school I had the opportunity to work with a number of different people in the community, from athletes and students, to engineers, parents, and other working professionals.
I attained my law degree from Whittier Law School and was hired on as a Deputy District Attorney in Orange County. As a former prosecutor, I always considered myself a public servant and was able to acquire knowledge of the court system, including the prosecutors and judges. I chose to become a criminal defense attorney because I wanted to have a relationship with a client and help people get a fair and just outcome on their pending criminal matter. Having had the opportunity to work on both sides of the criminal law I understand that some people are simply innocent, and that good people can find themselves in bad situations.
I recognize the legal process can appear complex and being accused of a crime can be very frightening and stressful. My pledge to you is that “we’ll get through it together.”
