About Jason
Jason W. Shanks was born in Sioux Falls and is currently living there with his wife, daughter, and son. He graduated from Sioux Falls Washington High School in 1994 and graduated with honors in 1999 from Southwest State University where he also played Divison II basketball. After graduation, Jason attended law school at the University of South Dakota, where he competed in national Moot Court competitions, which included a national championship in Entertainment Law. During his time at law school, Jason worked for the Federal District Court in Sioux Falls and as an intern at May & Johnson, P.C.
Jason received his juris doctorate in 2002 and immediately joined May & Johnson P.C. in August of that same year.
