J. Reed Poole, Jr. is an attorney based in the New Orleans Office of Irpino, Avin & Hawkins. He is admitted to practice law is the States of Louisiana and Texas and is an active member of their respective bar associations. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana. His primary practice areas include premises liability; automobile accidents; general negligence; personal injury; workers’ compensation; insurance coverage disputes; commercial transactions; property damage and warranty claims; commercial lending, residential lending, and consumer lending disputes; real estate law; and criminal law matters. Reed’s education includes an undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Economics and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. Reed’s past work experiences include a significant amount of trial experience in the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, and subsequently, he served as counsel for a Fortune Fifty corporation handling the defense and subrogation rights for the company in casualty claims. Reed is married with two children and resides in New Orleans, Louisiana. He currently serves as a representative in the House of Delegates for the Louisiana State Bar Association and is an appointed member of the Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. He is also an active junior member with the Fore!Kids Foundation which sponsors the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and fishing.

Born and raised in New Orleans, attorney John W. Redmann is the son of William V. Redmann, a respected judge on Louisiana’s 4th Circuit Court of Appeal, and comes from a family with a rich tradition in legal practice. Through his work, John Redmann extends his forebears’ tradition of legal representation and service to the state he calls home and the United States for nearly three decades. Attorney Redmann has practiced in New Orleans since graduating from Loyola University Law School in 1989, and he has since established his firm as a leader in Louisiana personal injury law. He and the other attorneys of his firm have taken hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands, of cases to court involving personal injury accidents and insurance companies. Attorney Redmann hosts an interactive television show called “John Redmann: Power of Attorney” on WLAE-TV (PBS), in which he aims to empower viewers with practical legal info provided by legal expert guests on the show (attorneys and judges) specializing in specific areas of law. He is a member of the “Bench and Bar” section of the Louisiana Bar Association currently serving as chairman (2015-present), with the purpose of improving how judges and attorneys can work together with each other and within our communities. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice Traumatic Brain Injury Group, the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers. Also known by some of his clients as “Juan,” attorney Redmann speaks fluent Spanish and French.
