About Jeffrey
Jeffrey A. Leyton has substantial experience in the practice of the law, having engaged in such practice for more than 35 years. He has practiced extensively in the area of family law and has served as corporate counsel to various New York Stock Exchange companies and as a partner in various law firms in the Phoenix area.
For the past 23 years, Mr. Leyton has concentrated his practice in family law and is experienced in virtually all areas of family law, including mediation, where he has successfully demonstrated his ability to negotiate settlements for clients rather than having to litigate the case. Mr. Leyton has represented clients in numerous trials and excels in providing advice to clients on complex divorce matters, including cases involving family businesses. Mr. Leyton has extensive experience in the preparation and negotiation of both premarital and postnuptial agreements, although his greatest strength involves confrontational custody matters, in which he has successfully negotiated settlements or obtained verdicts from the court reflecting the best interests of minor children. Mr. Leyton has also successfully handled numerous relocation cases involving out-of-state relocation by either parent.
