Jeff Bamber is an experienced intellectual property (IP) law and general practice attorney. He is also an inventor on multiple patents.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He obtained his law degree (JD) from The Ohio State University College of Law. He is admitted to the Ohio bar and the Florida bar (currently inactive status in Florida). Mr. Bamber is a registered U.S. Patent Attorney.
Mr. Bamber was formerly a Patent Attorney at The Procter & Gamble Company (P&G), the largest consumer products company in the world. Prior to working for P&G, Mr. Bamber was in private practice and was engaged in the general practice of law as well as IP law. At Procter & Gamble, Mr. Bamber trained and supervised patent attorneys and agents, as well as a group of patent illustrators. He left Procter & Gamble as Senior Counsel – Intellectual Property in 2018 to start his own law practice.
Mr. Bamber has filed and obtained hundreds of U.S. patents protecting products and processes across a wide variety of technologies. These include patents in the mechanical and chemical fields. Patents written and/or obtained by Mr. Bamber can be seen in the Granted Patents tab. Mr. Bamber has also handled patent litigation against major competitors.
In addition to practicing IP law, Mr. Bamber is an inventor on multiple patents. He invented Procter & Gamble’s ALWAYS® FLEXI-WINGTM sanitary napkin products that have been on the market for many years. ALWAYS® is one of Procter & Gamble’s $1 billion (annual sales) brands. Mr. Bamber is an inventor or co-inventor on over 25 Procter & Gamble patent publications.
He also founded Pelican Golf, Inc., where he developed and patented innovative golf equipment inventions including golf clubs, golf club shafts, sports gloves, and training aids.
