About Jennifer
A native of Houston, Jennifer Palmer is an associate attorney at Short Carter Morris, L.L.P. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. After graduating from Baylor, Jennifer moved back to Houston and attended South Texas College of Law where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2006. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006.
As a student at South Texas College of Law, Jennifer was a member of the South Texas Law Review. She had the privilege of serving as Note and Comment Editor for the South Texas Law Review her final year in law school. She is also a member of The Order of the Lytae.
Jennifer is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Family Law Section of the Houston Bar Association, the Houston Young Lawyers Association, the Woodlands Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association as well as the Burta Rhoads Raborn Family Law Inns of Court. She was recently named a Rising Star in Family Law by Texas Monthly Magazine.
