About Joey

    Joey McCutchen attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville from 1981 to 1985, where he received a bachelor degree in Zoology.
    Beginning in 1985, he continued his education at the University Of Arkansas School Of Law (Fayetteville) and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas School Of Law in 1988.
    After briefly practicing law at the Sexton Law Firm in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Joey attended Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he received a Master of Theological Studies degree in 1991.
    After receiving the Master of Theological Studies degree, Joey returned to Fort Smith and became the founder of the Law Offices of Joey McCutchen. Since 1991, Joey has practiced in the areas of personal injury, products liability and medical malpractice with an emphasis in litigation.
    Joey is member, in good standing, of the Bar of the State of Arkansas and Oklahoma as well as the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. Joey is also recognized by the Association of Trial Lawyers of America’s National College of Advocacy as an Advocate.
    In addition to his commitment to the practice of law, Joey is also committed to serving his community. Joey served as president of the Fort Smith Board of Education and was a member of the Fort Smith Board of Education from 1992 to 1998.
    Joey has also served as the president of the Fort Smith Boys Shelter, the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club Alumni Association and the Fort Smith Montessori Board of Education. He is a member of the Fort Smith Boys Shelter and is a charter member of the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club Alumni Association. Joey is also an active coach and sponsor at the Fort Smith Boys and Girls Club.
    Mr. McCutchen’s family heritage is closely tied to the region. The McCutchen family took up residency in Scott County, Arkansas in 1871. His grandfather, Hubert “Doc” McCutchen, was a prominent Dentist in Mansfield Arkansas for over 50 years. Joey’s father, Joe McCutchen, is a local pharmacist and founder of McCutchen Health Services.
