Justin M. Alderman has devoted his legal career to representing individuals in Family law and Criminal Defense cases since he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School and was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 2013. Justin has litigated hundreds of cases in his career, appearing in almost every county throughout the State of Minnesota. He has represented clients in all types of Family law hearings, including Temporary Motions, Evidentiary Hearings, Trials, Motions to Reconsider, Motions to Modify, Review Hearings, Contempt of Court, Appeals, Mediation, and Early Neutral Evaluations, and makes over 150 Court appearances each year.
Justin started his legal career in the small town of Olivia, Minnesota where he was the Assistant City Prosecutor for 7 cities in Renville County, but defended clients outside of Renville County on criminal matters. Justin used his experience as an assistant city prosecutor to held achieve favorable for his clients that he defended. Justin also spent about 75% of his time in Olivia practicing Family Law.
Justin left the small town of Olivia to then work at the largest domestic litigation firm in the country when he moved back to the Twin Cities. Justin practiced only in the area of family law during this time. Justin then transitioned to a prominent firm in St. Paul, where he went back to practicing both Family Law and Criminal Defense, before opening Alderman Law.
