Ms Joseph moved from Michigan to South Florida in 1980.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, in English, in June 1991, from University of South Florida; is an alumni member of the Sigma Delta Tau Sorority and in 1991, won USF's 1st Annual Technical Writing Competition. Ms. Joseph earned her “Juris Doctor” Degree, from Nova Southeastern University, School of Law, in May 1994.  Ms Joseph was a member of the Moot Court Society.  In 1994 she won “1st place“ in the Martin H. Feinreider Moot Court Competition before graduating in the top 12% of her class at Nova.   Ms. Joseph passed the Florida Bar and was licensed to practice law in Florida in October 1994.  

Ms. Joseph is also a member of the United States Southern & Middle District of Florida, Federal Court Bars, and has made special appearances in cases in Michigan and Kentucky.  

Ms. Joseph was previously a partner in a family law firm, where she started as an associate 17 years earlier, before leaving to open the boutique marital and family law firm known as: Law Offices of Kelley A. Joseph P.A which was formed in March 2011.   Ms. Joseph is a Supreme Court Certified Guardian Ad Litem in family court,  representing the best interests of children, since 1997,  and has been appointed close to 20 times by judges to serve in this capacity.

Ms Joseph is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, and the Broward County Bar Association.   Ms. Joseph is passionate about helping her clients and especially those with children with special needs in divorce matters and is also a fundraiser for Autism Speaks.  In her spare time,  Ms. Joseph enjoys spending time with her family,  and her amazing son, who is on the autism spectrum, and he is both her joy and inspiration.
