A technology enthusiast with the heart & mind of a criminal defense lawyer - an antihero in every sense of the word. In the spirit of going "against the grain," I'd like to start with some personal, non-professional background. My hobbies include collecting sports memorabilia, spending far too many hours playing PC games & watching (and re-watching) tons of movies/TV shows. Among my favorite movies are The Godfather, The Departed, Goodfellas, Casino, The Dark Knight, Sin City, The Punisher, Tombstone, A Bronx Tale, The Devil's Advocate, and so on and so forth. Favorite TV shows include Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, Sons of Anarchy, Homeland, Newsroom, Boardwalk Empire, Dexter, and Game of Thrones. My hidden talent = pop culture trivia. I have a disturbing ability to recall obscure movie trivia, quotes, and Now, for the boring stuff! Growing up in the hills of southeast KY - an area that is known for many things, least of all technology - technology was (and is) scarce and far behind. At 10 years old, my fascination with technology began - my first computer. Dial-up internet was still new(ish) but once I discovered "the internet" a symbiotic bond formed & continues to grow to this day. I have been a loyal & dedicated advocate of all things technology since before the internet became the god-child that it is today. In 7th grade, I decided to be a lawyer. Thus, I have been on a crash course for the nexus of law & technology since long ago. My formal studies of criminal law began in college with coursework including Criminal Investigations, White Collar Crime, Drugs, Crime & Society, and Organized Crime. This time cemented my future -- there was no other career for me than being a defense attorney. I structured my studies & extracurriculars around the realm of criminal law. During law school, I worked briefly for an intellectual property/patent/trademark attorney. Then, I worked for a small Jacksonville firm whose primary area of practice is criminal defense. I graduated in May 2014 from Florida Coastal School of Law and was admitted to the KY Bar in September 2014. tidbits that have no business occupying a part of one's memory.

Phillip "Bruce" Leslie was born June 24, 1947. Bruce is a 1965 graduate of Paul Blazer High School, in Ashland, Kentucky. Bruce is married to Leannah Leslie and they have two children, Allison Allred & Brett Leslie. After graduation, Bruce pursued his college education at the University of Kentucky, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Education. In 1969, Bruce was admitted to the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1970, receiving his Juris Doctorate in 1973. Shortly thereafter, Bruce, along with John R. McGinnis, became a partner in what would become one of the State’s most prominent law firms. Bruce currently is a Senior Partner. For nearly four decades, Bruce Leslie has vigorously pursued his belief in giving back to the community. He has served with distinction as a member of the Kentucky Bar Association House of Delegates, member and Chairman of the Board of Ashland Community & Technical College; a member, secretary, vice president and Chairman of the Board of the Paramount Arts Center, a member and Chairman of the Institutional Review Board of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, a member and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital and a member and Board member and Chairman of the Board for Community Hospice. In addition, Mr. Leslie is proud to serve as a vestry member of the Calvary Episcopal Church since 2004.
