About Larry
Larry W. Weaver is a CMPA and WMA-member attorney. His practice emphasizes the representation of manufactured home community owners and operators throughout California.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Larry was involved in shopping center development and property management. Thus, when Larry became a lawyer, he brought extensive practical knowledge from the corporate side to his legal practice.
Larry initially worked for a large Orange County law firm with an emphasis in real estate litigation. Since 1983, he has focused in representing manufactured home community owners and operators.
In 1985, Larry started his own firm and has represented hundreds of manufactured home community owners and operators, with an emphasis on the day-to-day legal issues that arise in the operation of the communities and dealing with the communities' residents. He has also been extensively involved in dealing with resident-owned parks and park closures.
Larry is a frequent speaker at industry seminars and conventions, has authored numerous articles in industry trade magazines, was a contributing author to the Continuing Education of the Bar, Landlord-Tenant Practice, and has served as a judge pro tem in the Los Angeles County Courts and as an arbitrator for the Orange County Bar Association.
In addition, Larry was the recipient of the "Advocacy Fighter Award" for 2005, presented by the California Mobilehome Parkowners Alliance (CMPA).
