About Lisa

A New York native, Lisa Garcia Reger graduated cum laude from Indiana State University in Terre Haute in 1990 and received her law degree from the Indiana University School of Law in Indianapolis in 1994.  While at Indiana University, she was named the recipient of the Ben F. Small Fellowship Award and Scholarship.  Ms. Reger was admitted to the Indiana State Bar Association in 1994 and was also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Indiana.  She became a partner in the law practice in 1999.  Active in the community, Ms. Reger is a member of the Floyd County, Indiana, and American Bar Associations as well as the Sherman Minton American Inns of Court.  She was the Floyd County Court's Public Defender from 1998 through 2002; is past secretary, vice-president, and president of the Southern Indiana Estate Planning Council, and has served on the board of directors of Our Place Drug and Alcohol Education Services, Inc. Ms. Reger is a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Ms. Reger also received her certification as a Family Law Specialist in 2002 and in October 2002 she became a registered Family Law Mediator.
