About Logan

Logan Philipps is a 2006 graduate of The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Since his admission to the Ohio Bar, he has worked on a variety of complex cases, including: Aggravated Murder, Rape, Aggravated Robbery, Burglary, and Drug Trafficking, Criminal Security Violations involving Mail Fraud, Wire Fraud, Money Laundering and Promotion Money Laundering, Concealment Money Laundering, Unlawful Importation of Monetary Instruments and a variety of Conspiracy cases. He has also defended individuals charged with OMVI (DUI), Drug Possession, Assault, and Felony Theft.

Mr. Philipps work is not limited to the trial level. He has worked on appeals to the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and appeals in the Appellate Districts of Ohio. He is a 1999 graduate of Purdue University with a degree in education. Prior to law school, Mr. Philipps taught history in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a result of this experience, Mr. Philipps has unique abilities and perspectives when representing juvenile clients. While in law school, Mr. Philipps worked in clerk positions at the offices of The Federal Public Defender for the Southern District of Ohio, The Franklin County Public Defender Office as well as with Joseph E. Scott, Co. LPA.

At The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, Logan was a member of the Criminal Procedure Moot Court Team. Mr. Philipps and his team traveled to Buffalo, New York for competition. Mr. Philipps was also a member and a senior editor of I/S: A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society. In addition to his law degree, Mr. Philipps earned a master's degree in public policy at The Ohio State University John Glenn School of Public Affairs in June of 2007.
