About Louis
Mr. Lang received his undergraduate degree from the American University inWashington, D.C. He was graduated from the University of South Carolina Schoolof Law, cum laude, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, andAssociate Justice of the Order of Wig and Robe.
Mr. Lang was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1982 and to the Districtof Columbia Bar in 1983. He is also admitted to practice before the FourthCircuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Lang came to the firm in 1987, after having servedfour years on active duty in the Judge Advocate General's Corps, United StatesNavy, and having served in the Office of Chief Counsel, Internal RevenueService, Washington, D.C. He became a partner in 1992.
Mr. Lang concentrates his practice in litigation, principally in the area oftitle insurance claims litigation and he handles a variety of other business andcommercial litigation, as well as criminal defense work.
