STEPHEN V. SOMMERS (licensed in Virginia 1999, Texas (1997), Maryland (1996)), was born at Camp Pendleton, CA, October 4, 1956 and educated at Troy State University (B.S., Summa Cum Laude, 1981), Golden Gate University (M.A., 1986) and American University (Juris Doctor, 1995). Mr. Sommers retired from the United States Air Force at the rank of Major after 22 years flying fighter aircraft. Mr. Sommers has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Fourth Circuit and the Tenth Circuit and all Virginia Courts. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Virginia Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Aviation Section of the Texas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association, as well as each state’s Bar Association he is licensed in. Mr. Sommers has extensive experience in all types of trial litigation and specializes in personal injury, criminal defense, medical malpractice, product liability, aviation crash litigation, as well as general civil litigation in state and federal courts. A member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States. Nominated by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys as 10 Best for 2015 and 2016.

Corey Pollard is the managing partner of Jenkins Block & Associates‘ Richmond office and heads the Virginia Workers’ Compensation department of the firm. Mr. Pollard focuses his practice on representing individuals who have suffered injuries at work or through the fault of others, including car accident, motorcycle wreck, construction accident, medical malpractice and wrongful death cases. And when these personal injuries and other medical conditions lead to problems in the workplace or permanent health impairments, Mr. Pollard helps individuals obtain the monetary awards they deserve through state and federal employment law and Social Security Disability. Born and raised in Newport News, Virginia, Mr. Pollard grew up in a construction family. A graduate of Menchville High School, where he was a Virginia High School League (VHSL) State Champion in Swimming, Mr. Pollard earned his Bachelor’s Degree with honors from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. While in college, Mr. Pollard was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) fraternity. Mr. Pollard obtained his J.D. with honors from the University of Richmond School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Pollard was selected as a member of the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public and Interest. He was also selected as member of the school’s Client Counseling & Negotiation Board after winning the Environmental Negotiation Competition in 2007. Prior to joining Jenkins Block & Associates, Mr. Pollard worked as an insurance defense attorney where he gained valuable experience and training while representing many of the nation’s largest employers and insurance carriers. Now he uses that experience to represent individuals who sustained personal injuries and disability and to fight back against insurance companies and their tactics. Mr. Pollard’s wife, Leigh, is a Human Resources Manager who provides “real world” advice and insight on employment and labor law matters. The Pollards have two children, Knox and Rivers, who keep them busy and running around, and a 5-pound dog named Simba. They are members of Bon Air Baptist Church. In his spare time, Mr. Pollard enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach, and playing pickup basketball and golf. When he is in the mood for punishment, he roots for his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins.

Aubrey Brown is a member of the firm’s litigation section, and was named a shareholder in 2018. His practice crosses multiple areas of law, consisting principally of: Family Law and Domestic Relations, including, divorces, spousal support and alimony, equitable distribution and division of property, pre-marital and pre-nuptial agreements, property settlement agreements, protective orders, and child custody, visitation, and child support matters. Residential Real Estate, including, purchases, sales, refinances, transfers, and real estate disputes. Personal Injury, including, automobile accidents, premises liability (“slip and fall”) and dog bites. Trust, Will and Estate Litigation. Aubrey is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Virginia, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia. Prior to joining Parker, Pollard, Wilton & Peaden, P.C., Aubrey was a judicial law clerk in the Circuit Court of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
