About Madeleine
Madeleine E. Moise Cassetta, born in Constanta, Romania, was admitted to the New York Bar in 2009. She received an M.A. degree in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies in 2003; a Masters of Law in International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from Lund University, Sweden in 2002; an L.L.M (juris kandidat) from Lund University in 2001; and a diploma in intellectual property rights law from the World Intellectual Property Organization Worldwide Academy in Geneva, Switzerland.
Ms. Moise Cassetta earned her J.D. degree with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2008, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as Editor in Chief of the North Dakota Law Review. She also completed a judicial externship with Hon. Kermit E. Bye of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Upon completing her legal studies, Ms. Moise Cassetta clerked for Hon. Dale V. Sandstrom, Justice of the North Dakota Supreme Court. She had previously served as a judicial clerk for two years at the District Court of Lund, Sweden, where she also adjudicated criminal and civil cases in accordance with the Swedish district court clerkship system.
In addition to English, Ms. Moise Cassetta speaks French, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, and Swedish, and maintains a working knowledge of German. The focus of Ms. Moise Cassetta’s practice is civil litigation, professional liability and insurance.
