Before attending law school, Laney was a collegiate swimmer, competing at both Indiana State University and East Carolina University—an experience that instilled in her discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, qualities she brings to her legal practice today.
Laney was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2025. Prior to joining Bailey & Galyen, she gained legal experience working in business law, youth rights, and bankruptcy law, providing her with a well-rounded perspective when advocating for clients.
