About Marie
One of the most widely known and respected woman litigators in Wisconsin, Marie brings 30 years of experience in civil litigation to her clients. For over three decades, she has tried cases personal injury cases and represented clients in professional liability matters. In 1994, Marie became the first woman admitted to the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates; in 1999 she was Wisconsin's first woman elected to the American College of Trial Lawyers. Having practiced as both plaintiff and defense counsel, she is a proven negotiator and is requested by her peers to mediate or arbitrate over 90 cases annually.
Marie practices in both State and Federal Courts and has served as a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars throughout the State. She has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Law School and the UW Medical School Residency Program, chaired the Litigation Section for the Wisconsin State Bar Association, and served two terms as a committee member for the Board of Attorneys Professional Responsibility.
