Mark F. Kluger, Attorney

Mark chairs the Labor and Employment Department and practices exclusively inthe area of labor and employment law on behalf of employers. He has extensiveexperience in counseling and training employers on issues involving disciplineand discharge, reductions in force, compliance with wage and hour, disability,COBRA, and family and medical leave laws. He regularly drafts all forms ofemployment policies and handbooks, severance agreements, employment contractsand non-competition and confidentiality agreements. He frequently trainsmanagement employees in sexual harassment and discrimination avoidance, andconducts training sessions on workplace violence, union avoidance and a myriadof other employment related topics. Mark also represents employers in collectivebargaining, arbitration and NLRB proceedings. He is admitted to practice beforeall state and federal courts in New Jersey, the Third Circuit Court of Appealsand the United States Supreme Court. From 1991-1996, he taught at Seton HallUniversity School of Law as an Adjunct Professor. Mark is a member of the Boardof Education in North Caldwell New Jersey. He received his undergraduate degreefrom Vassar College in 1984 and his law degree from Cornell University LawSchool in 1987.
