A native of New Orleans, Evan Breaux is the son of Darryl Breaux. Since his youth, Evan has known that he wanted to be an attorney like his father, Darryl, and his maternal grandfather, the late Clifford P. de Laup, Jr. While earning his Business Management degree at the University of New Orleans, Mr. Breaux worked part-time for his father, thus beginning his experience in the field of personal injury law. Mr. Breaux then worked as a law clerk for a Baton Rouge mixed litigation firm with a concentration in personal injury during his law school years. Soon after obtaining his Louisiana Bar license, Evan began working as an Associate Attorney at a well-known, large personal injury firm in New Orleans. Evan gained valuable experience at that law firm, and in January of 2017, he joined the law office of Darryl Breaux & Associates, creating one of New Orleans’ only father-son personal injury law firms. Like his father, Evan is accessible; he believes the firm’s family atmosphere and dedication to personal attention is what sets DB&A apart from other firms. Guided by his father’s strong work ethic and a philosophy of respect for all persons, Evan is committed to getting the very best results for his clients.

Eugene Redmann is a lifelong resident of New Orleans. After attending Jesuit High School for two years, Gene graduated from O. Perry Walker High School in 1976. Gene worked in private business and then received a degree in accounting from Loyola University in 1988. He entered Loyola University School of Law in 1988 and graduated in 1991. Gene began clerking at the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans as a junior in law school in 1990 for the Honorable Gerald P. Fedoroff and continued there until 1992. Gene then went in to private practice, where he continues today. Gene comes from a distinguished line of lawyers. His father, the Honorable William V. Redmann, was a Court of Appeal Judge in New Orleans from 1967 until 1987 when he retired as Chief Judge due to health reasons. Two of Gene’s eight siblings are lawyers. More than 40 of Gene’s extended family are lawyers in the New Orleans area. Gene has been in private practice for the past 20 years. He has a wide practice, including personal injury, criminal and DWI cases and many traffic offense cases. Additionally, Gene handles divorce and family cases, civil matters and expungement of criminal records.

Born and raised in New Orleans, attorney John W. Redmann is the son of William V. Redmann, a respected judge on Louisiana’s 4th Circuit Court of Appeal, and comes from a family with a rich tradition in legal practice. Through his work, John Redmann extends his forebears’ tradition of legal representation and service to the state he calls home and the United States for nearly three decades. Attorney Redmann has practiced in New Orleans since graduating from Loyola University Law School in 1989, and he has since established his firm as a leader in Louisiana personal injury law. He and the other attorneys of his firm have taken hundreds and hundreds, if not thousands, of cases to court involving personal injury accidents and insurance companies. Attorney Redmann hosts an interactive television show called “John Redmann: Power of Attorney” on WLAE-TV (PBS), in which he aims to empower viewers with practical legal info provided by legal expert guests on the show (attorneys and judges) specializing in specific areas of law. John Redmann is AV Preeminent peer-review rated* through Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating available. He is also a member of the Louisiana Bar Foundation. He is a member of the “Bench and Bar” section of the Louisiana Bar Association currently serving as chairman (2015-present), with the purpose of improving how judges and attorneys can work together with each other and within our communities. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice Traumatic Brain Injury Group, the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, and the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers. Also known by some of his clients as “Juan,” attorney Redmann speaks fluent Spanish and French. At many big firms, the named partners have little involvement with clients or their cases beyond the initial meeting. John Redmann is a hands-on attorney who is personally immersed in every case we handle, from accident investigation through settlement or litigation.
