About Marvin

Marvin Mitchell received his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University, and his Juris Doctor degree from the Indiana University School of Law. In 1963, he served as a research assistant to the Chief Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court. He is admitted to practice in the United State Courts of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit as well as the Supreme Court of the United States.
Marvin has authored more than thirty articles on real estate, dissolution, trial practice, taxes, estate planning and corporate law for Res Gestae, the Practical Lawyer, Fair Share, the American Bar Association, and the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum. He has served as panelist and as chairman of numerous continuing legal education seminars.

He is a member of the American Arbitration Association's panel of arbitrators, the Indianapolis, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations, as well as the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association. He is rated av by Martindale-Hubbell and was a Top Ten Super Lawyer as published in the Indianapolis Monthly and in the current editions of The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers and Partners America's Leading Business Lawyers.
