About Mathew

Mathew M. Meyer joined the firm in 1997 and has practiced primarily in the area of commercial litigation ever since.  His practice has involved representing clients in matters involving

Mr. Meyer has broad experience in not only representing clients before trial and appellate courts, but also in arbitrations and mediations.  He has represented clients before trial courts in Minnesota, South Dakota and Iowa, as well as in Minnesota state and federal appellate courts.  He has held associate positions in South Dakota and Virginia.  While attending Cornell Law School, Mr. Meyer was the articles editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and the editor of the Cornell Moot Court Board.  Prior to college, he was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, serving as an infantry squad leader and as a Marine Security Guard at embassies in Khartoum, Sudan; Geneva, Switzerland; and Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Mr. Meyer is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the South Dakota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association.  He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and South Dakota state and federal courts, as well as in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
