About Michael
Michael J. Anderson is the founder of this firm. He possesses extensive litigation experience, along with a foundational understanding of all practice areas touching upon the 21st Century businessperson. His practice focuses upon business, collections, commercial real estate, construction, and insurance coverage; in other words, every area of the law with which today’s businessperson may encounter questions or disputes.
Attorney Anderson has written and lectured on many legal topics relating to business law. In addition to his law practice, he founded MJA Mediation LLC, which is tailored towards conflict resolution outside of the courtroom.
Attorney Anderson earned his J.D. in 2000 from University of Wisconsin Law School where he was active in Moot Court and the International Law Journal. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1991 with a double major in American History and Political Science, where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha (Pike) fraternity. In recent years, he has served as the Chapter Advisor and Risk Management Coordinator for the Northwestern Pikes. He attended Marquette University High School graduating in 1987.
Attorney Anderson is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He also is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and various district and bankruptcy courts within the Seventh Circuit.

Attorney Anderson not only chose to locate his practice in Lake Mills, he chose to reside there as well. He enjoys the small town feel and comradery that comes from knowing townspeople and neighbors alike.

Attorney Anderson adores any time spent with his two beautiful and active children, Emi and Sam. He volunteers his time with Emi’s soccer club, the Madison 56ers. As time permits, he picks up his guitar for jam sessions with old high school buddies, and he loves attending a concert or two each month. He is a member of the Saint Gabriel Catholic Parish in Lake Mills.
