Garrett J. TenHave-Chapman is the founding attorney for Solomon Law Firm PLLC. He is a litigator with over twenty-five years of experience. Garrett focuses on Social Security Disability, Workers' Compensation, Personal Bankruptcy and Child Custody, Immigration and Motor Vehicle Law. He also is experienced in appellate law, veterans' benefits, landlord-tenant, criminal law, insurance defense, entertainment law, environmental due diligence, and general litigation. Garrett has advocated for both plaintiffs and defendants. Although he now concentrates his practice on helping clients with social security, workers' compensation, personal bankruptcy, child custody, immigration, and motor vehicle issues, he knows how to weigh both sides of an issue. He prosecutes cases for plaintiffs but also has defended businesses. He is able to help his clients on either side of an issue understand their opponent, and therefore be prepared for what may happen next in a case. Garrett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Hope College, a Master of Divinity from Chicago Theological Seminary, and a law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Garrett is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, its Social Security and Worker's Compensation sections, the Grand Rapids Bar Association, and both the Western and Eastern Michigan Districts of the United States District Court. He also is an accredited attorney with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Garrett is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR) and a member of the Michigan Association for Justice. Garrett enjoys the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, softball, movies, singing, and running. He is a member of both the First Congregational Church of Rockford and Tachanuwnah International Ministries. He and his family reside in Rockford.

A Michigan native, Mr. Doud grew up in Saginaw, graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School, Northern Michigan University, and Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. He started practicing law in 1996 and became a partner in 2003. Mike lives on Saginaw Bay with his wife, two children, and two dogs.

We have over 20 years of combined legal experience, handling criminal law and defense cases, family law matters, including divorce and child custody cases, professional licensing defense and, more recently, Michigan Medical Marijuana Defense and Licensure. We can pretty much handle any criminal case, family law dispute or professional licensing complaint that they can throw at us. We do some other boutique things too, but we prefer a sit down to discuss unique cases that pique our interest.

Attorney Mandy L. Kelly received her law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Prior to law school, Mrs. Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration-Pre Law from Michigan State University. Mandy previously worked for the University of Detroit Mercy’s non-profit organization, Project SALUTE, helping low-income veterans obtain military compensation and pension benefits. She has traveled the country training attorneys from other firms on how to best represent our veterans. Mrs. Kelly has focused her practice on helping disabled veterans returning home from serving our country. She works tirelessly to help our veterans fight yet another battle in obtaining their disability benefits before both the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Social Security Administration. Mrs. Kelly has also been recognized as a top 10 best attorney for exceptional and outstanding client service by the American Institute of Legal Counsel. Mandy is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Macomb County Bar Association, National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, and National Organization of Veterans’ Advocates. She is also accredited to practice before the Department of Veterans Affairs. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and supporting her Alma mater – Go Green!

Spiro Michals Attorney at Law is a founding Partner of the firm of Michals & Michals, LLC and heads the General Law division of the firm. In addition to those areas of practice listed above, Spiro Michals Attorney at Law currently serves as Attorney for numerous corporations. He previously served as Law Clerk for the Monmouth County Prosecutors Office. His extensive experience in real property and personal injury matters has garnered him many notable clients such as West Shore Medical, Jersey Shore Grille and others. Tom Kuiper is an experienced litigator with proficiency in a variety of cases and forums. He practices in State district, circuit, probate, federal and appellate courts, and in arbitration and mediation settings. He represents a variety of clients, from billion-dollar corporations in commercial litigation disputes to the individual involved in a personal dispute or family breakup. He also mediates a wide variety of cases. Although the issues and forums may differ, Tom's approach remains the same: To relate to people, to communicate difficult legal concepts and information in a clear and simple manner, and to work on a personal level with the client. Tom is married and has six children. He enjoys sports, and activities with his children, including coaching various youth sports teams.

Since Jared was a child, he was taught the intricacies of personal injury law by his father, Steven. From a young age Jared wanted to help people who had been wronged and found that becoming a lawyer was the best way to do that. Unlike many law school students who do not have a goal in mind, other than to become an attorney, Jared tailored his law school experience to prepare him to represent clients at Matz Injury Law. Jared prides himself on knowing the law and how to apply it to his clients’ needs.
