About Moshe

Moshe B. Newman is the founder and managing partner of The Legacy Law Firm, where he focuses on Elder Law and Probate Litigation. He has assisted clients in recovering half a million dollars that was stolen from their inheritance, and helped disinherit heirs for trying to take more than their fair share of their parent’s estate.

From planning out your inheritance, to helping put that plan into action after a loved one’s passing - or help you deal with their passing if they didn’t have a plan -  to issues with getting your own inheritance, we do it all. We also help with finding and paying for assisted living and nursing home care, with guidance on qualifying for Medicaid and the various programs that can help with elder care for either yourself, or a loved one that needs help either in or out of the home.

Cases

McCollough

In this case, Mr. Newman successfully prevented a sister from taking the majority of her mother's estate and not allowing her sister's and brother's to get their fair share. After a long trial, Mr. Newman was successful in getting a fair share for all the other siblings - and stopped the original sister from getting any money from the estate, and instead used it to pay for the other sibling's attorney fees, and get them some extra money as well.
