About Nancy
Nancy Dilley is a member of the firm. She concentrates her practice in the areas of trusts and wills, decedent's estates and probate, family business succession planning, special needs planning, and elder law.
Nancy has been involved in structuring and implementing estate plans for a broad range of estate sizes. She has many years of experience with sophisticated estate tax planning through the use of family limited partnerships, grantor retained annuity trusts, charitable remainder and lead trusts, insurance trusts, residence trusts, and family business succession techniques. Additionally, she has broad experience with the administration of decedents' estates and the preparation of estate and gift tax returns. Nancy devotes much of her efforts in helping families create the structures that assure continuing protection for younger generations. She is one of the "recommended" attorneys for families with "special needs" descendants.
Nancy was a columnist for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch for seven years. The column covered topics pertaining to estate planning, elder law, business succession planning, and probate.
Prior to entering the practice of law, Nancy was a high school teacher. As an estate planning attorney, she is still teaching by making sure her clients understand the available planning opportunities and the consequences of each choice.
