About Nancy
In representing my clients, I make every effort to have open communication by keeping them fully informed about the status of their case, and making myself available for their questions and concerns. I also communicate with family members and/or significant others as needed or requested by my clients. I visit my clients who are in jail and take their telephone calls from the jail.
I have a reputation among other defense attorneys, prosecutors and judges as being effective and strong. My reputation with my clients is that I am fair and honest about the charges against them and what I can do for them. The first time I meet with a client, I do not charge for my time. I take the opportunity to learn about the case, my client and any defenses before I discuss how much money I will charge to represent them. I make sure that my client and I understand and agree on what I will be doing to represent them before I prepare a contract for us to sign. Once we have signed the contract, I will stand by the agreed upon fee. If something changes in the case that would change the agreement between my client and me, I will discuss that with my client and together we will decide how to deal with the change.
