That meant I had a significant amount of real world experience and unlike many in our field, developed a kind personality along the way. As a senior communications executive I drove strategic communications and crisis management at IBM, JPMorgan, Siemens Healthcare, and Experian. Additionally, I spent six years in Washington, working as a press secretary for two of the most powerful members of the United States Congress. What changed: After a while, I just got tired of working for the nameless, faceless corporations and had enough of the partisan politics of Washington. Amy Sklar has practiced with several well-respected law firms and independently on Long Island. She has over 30 years of legal experience focusing on Matrimonial and Family Law. Louis I. Newman has been a member of the New York Bar since 1968 and has negotiated and tried hundreds of cases, including matrimonial cases which are cited for various precedents. He has represented professional athletes, celebrities and judges in New York State in their divorces. He has been called upon to testify as an expert witness regarding New York divorce law and participated as a panelist in Continuing Legal Education courses.

Mr. Gross has practiced law for more than 40 years after graduating from Albany Law School of Union University. In that time he has settled or tried to conclusion over 1,250 cases and handled scores of appeals. He has represented clients in cases which have been reported on television and in print media. His focus is on helping clients with divorce, custody, maintenance, child support, paternity, domestic violence and equitable distribution matters. From 1991-2002 he was a member of the Nassau County Assessment Review Commission processing real property tax protests and gained experience appraising residential and commercial property. In 2012 Mr. Gross was selected to speak on issues relating to children as witnesses in custody and neglect/abuse litigation as a panelist in the Annual Conference of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts - New York Division.
