Attorney Nicholas (Nick) Wiser of Byrd & Wiser a Biloxi, Mississippi, business and commercial law and litigation firm, practices in the areas of commercial litigation and business transactions personal injury commercial bankruptcy and state and federal appeals. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee, on July 8, 1953.
Mr. Wiser is admitted to practice in Mississippi State District Courts; the US District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Mississippi; the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Wiser is a member of the Harrison County and American Bar Associations, the Mississippi State Bar, the Mississippi Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
He received his Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University (1975) and his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College (1982). Mr. Wiser served as Articles Editor for the Mississippi College Law Review (1981-1982); authored “Admissions by Party Opponent,” 2 Mississippi College Law Review 287, 1981; and served as Law Clerk to Honorable Presiding Justice Vernon H. Broom, Mississippi Supreme Court (1982-1983).
