I made it possible for a woman to stay at home instead of having to move to a nursing home. I saved a million dollars for a client, where the money would have all been given to the State of Florida. I had a case that involved a 90 year old client, who suffered from dementia. My client was not in the right state of mind to create any more estate planning documents. Luckily, before she was incapacitated, she had created a revocable trust and durable power of attorney. She had made her son, the only living heir. The problem was her son was dying from cancer. Luckily, his mother had made her son her agent in her power of attorney. Her son was able to create updated estate planning documents for his mother allowing his girlfriend to take care of everything when he passed away. I am still in contact with the girlfriend, and help her run the apartment building that he wanted her to have.

I've built a successful practice by understanding the client's needs.

Clients should look for traits such as: Responsive, honest, ethical, experience or the legal knowledge to obtain the ability to solve the problem at hand.

Local knowledge is important to know what the judges want and how cases are administered in a particular circuit. How the Judge likes facts to be filed and what the Judge is looking for.
