Mr. McWhirter received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Carolina in 1969 and graduated from the University Of South Carolina School Of Law in 1973. Since then, he has practiced in many areas of law, including medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, automobile accidents, trucking litigation, worker’s compensation, product liability, premises liability, wrongful death, and criminal defense.  Mr. McWhirter has been admitted to the South Carolina Bar and the United States District Court, District of South Carolina, and, therefore, is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts.
