Mr. Pitzner has a broad base of experience from more than 37 years in the practice of business and tax law. His expertise includes business planning and negotiation of commercial transactions; mergers, acquisitions and purchase or sale of business, including business pricing and valuation; ownership succession planning for closely held businesses and business reorganization. He was ranked as one of the top corporate counsel, tax and trust/estate planning lawyers in Dane County in a poll of lawyers published by Madison Magazine in January 2003.
In addition, he has advised clients in the areas of income, estate and gift taxation; estate planning, trusts and probate; tax audits and tax litigation; and marital property agreements.
