About Robert
Robert Baggs' practice is comprised of defending manufacturers in products liability litigation matters. His practice also includes defending automotive manufacturers in warranty disputes under the Song-Beverly Act, the Magnuson-Moss Act and the Consumer Legal Remedies Act. Robert defends cases on behalf of Nissan North America, Yamaha Motor Corporation, Porsche Cars North America, Ford Motor Company and Aston Martin Lagonda of North America.
Robert successfully argued numerous critical motions, including motions for summary judgment and demurrers on a variety of issues from strict liability for ultra-hazardous activity to unfair business practices. He has also taken numerous depositions, including plaintiffs' depositions in motor vehicle negligence actions and premises liability actions.
Prior to joining Bowman and Brooke, Robert handled a wide variety of litigation matters for a state-wide firm in Bakersfield, California. There Robert defended business clients in products liability cases, motor vehicle negligence cases, premises liability cases, and real estate/land use disputes. While attending UCLA School of Law, he worked as a law clerk for the South Coast Air Quality Management District, he was an extern at the United States Attorney's Office - Central District and participated in an elite fellowship program through the American Board of Trial Advocates.
