About Robert
Robert Eherenman began practicing law in Fort Wayne in 1992, focusing his practice in the area of land use law, including zoning permits, rezoning, annexations, development plans, subdivision approvals, and other land use issues, such as administrative enforcement actions from state and federal environmental agencies.
He routinely presents cases to local land use boards and litigates land use and administrative issues at the trial court level, the Court of Appeals of Indiana, and the Supreme Court of Indiana. He serves as counsel for the Allen County Board of Zoning Appeals, the Allen County Plan Commission, the Fort Wayne Board of Zoning Appeals, and the Fort Wayne Plan Commission. Mr. Eherenman is on the Advisory Committee and a contributing author for the publication Indiana Planning and Zoning Law Annotated (2003). Mr. Eherenman has lectured at numerous seminars. Mr. Eherenman has also represented entities, such as the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns and the Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association, in filing amicus briefs.
Mr. Eherenman also practices in the area of general civil litigation, handling cases that involve real estate matters, littoral and riparian rights, corporate and shareholder matters, contract and commercial law. He handles appeals in both the Indiana appellate courts and the Seventh Circuit for the United States Court of Appeals.
