About Robert
Bob Lindall is a shareholder of Kennedy & Graven, Chartered. He brings many years of experience to his practice in the areas of eminent domain, real estate, environmental law, property tax appeals, and public law, with an emphasis on condemnation and environmental cost recovery issues. The Minnesota State Bar Association has certified him as a Real Property Law Specialist. Bob has been selected as a Life Member to the National Registry of Who s Who (2000) and by American Research Corporation s Guide to Leading American Attorneys.
Some of Bob s past and present clients are Minneapolis Community Development Agency, Metropolitan Council, Metropolitan Waste Control Commission, Anoka County, the cities of Bloomington, Cokato, Crystal, Kenyon, Lauderdale, Medina, Mound, Mounds View, Minnetonka, New Brighton, North St. Paul, Plymouth, Richfield, Robbinsdale, St. Louis Park, and the EDA s, Port Authorities, and HRA s of Bemidji, Crystal, Fairmont, Red Wing, Richfield, St. Louis Park, and South St. Paul.
In 1966, Bob earned a B.A. in Geography from the University of Minnesota. From 1966 to 1969, he attended law school at the University of Minnesota, receiving a law degree in 1969.
Bob began his legal career as a special assistant attorney general for the state of Minnesota from 1969 to 1973, representing the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. From 1973 to 1978, he was, successively, staff attorney, general counsel, and, president and general manager of Jonathan Development Corporation.
In addition, Bob has been a council member for the city of Chaska since 1978, and Mayor Pro Tem since 1984. Since 1989, Bob has served as president of the Southwest Corridor Transportation Coalition. He is a former member of the Southwest Metro Transit Commission and the International Right of Way Association. He has been an attorney with Kennedy & Graven and its predecessor firm since 1978.
Among his many past and current community service and professional activities, Bob was an active member of the Minnesota Environmental Education Council from 1971 to 1975, serving as its chairman from 1974 to 1975. He also was a member of the Metropolitan Council Transportation Advisory Board from 1978 to 1981, and has been a longtime member of the Hennepin County Bar Association and Minnesota State Bar Association. He served as the Chair of the Eminent Domain Committee of the Hennepin County Bar Association from 1981 to 1983 and has been a member since 1978. He also is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association s Real Estate and Environmental Law Committees.

I enjoy working on public projects such as the Metrodome, the Minneapolis Convention Center, and widening of 77th Street in Richfield and 79th Street in Bloomington, because you can identify with the objectives as being beneficial for the community at large.
