For many years, Mr. Shafer has worked with a variety of business enterprises that included hundreds of start-up businesses guiding them through the formation stages, development and sustainability, as viable and successful ventures. ​ Mr. Shafer represents clients in the formation of business entities, mergers, acquisitions, private offerings to raise capital for funding business expansion and technology developments, and business succession planning. Mr. Shafer holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Western State University and was admitted to practice in California in 1979. He is admitted to practice before all California state courts, the California Central District of the U. S. Federal Courts and was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States in 1989. He is a member of the Business Law section of the California State Bar and has served as a Judge Pro Tem in Orange County, California ​
