About Roshna
Roshna Bala Keen graduated from Northwestern University Law School in 2004. During law school, Ms. Keen interned with Judge Ruben Castillo of the Northern District of Illinois and worked in the Appeals Division of the New York State Attorney General's Office (then Elliot Spitzer). She was awarded the Arlin Miner prize for outstanding brief-writing and served on the Law Review. Ms. Keen received her undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Chicago. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Keen was an assistant editor at Foreign Affairs Magazine.
After law school, Ms. Keen worked for four years at Sidley Austin LLP, where she handled federal and state litigation, white collar matters, and False Claims Act suits, in addition to working extensively on pro bono matters.
Having long maintained an interest in civil rights work, Ms. Keen joined Loevy & Loevy in 2008. Her practice is focused on representing whistleblowers in federal and state qui tam actions, and on a variety of civil rights cases challenging unlawful police practices.
Ms. Keen is admitted to practice in Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois.
